Welcome to the second edition of the LËTZ MILE – The Luxembourg City Roadmile !In this FAQ you will find all the information you need to prepare for your participation and fully enjoy the event.The LËTZ MILE is an international urban race held in the heart of Luxembourg City, on the iconic Avenue de la Liberté. It is open to all types of runners: children, beginners, recreational runners, licensed athletes, and elite athletes.Following the success of the first edition, the LËTZ MILE returns in 2026 with a major new feature: a 5km race will complement the Mile program.

When and where does the event take place?

The event will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 , with the start and finish line located on Avenue de la Liberté , in Luxembourg City.

What distances are offered?

Two main options are planned:1 Mile (1,609 meters): Broken down by age categories (U14, U18, Popular and Elite).5 km: An event open to all participants looking for a longer distance on a flat and fast course.

The LËTZ MILE is a sporting event open to everyone.We ask each participant to show respect towards:the other runners;the volunteers;the commissioners and signallers;the members of the organization;emergency and security services;the spectators;the local residents.Any dangerous, unsportsmanlike behavior or behavior that does not respect the organization's instructions may result in exclusion from the event.
